Zak Dingle (played by Steve Halliwell) and Faith Dingle (Sally Dexter) shared a kiss on last night’s Emmerdale and during tonight’s instalment the pair agreed it would never happen again.
However, noticing his dad’s sombre mood, Sam Dingle (James Hooton) pulled Zak aside to make sure he was okay.
“You alright dad?” he began. “We’ve done nought but ram our good news down your throat all day, I didn’t stop to think the last family we were at was yours and Lisa’s.”
“You’ve every right to be happy,” Zak replied before confessing he had kissed Faith the day before.
Explaining what happened, Zak remarked: “It meant nothing, her and Pollard had broken up, me losing Lisa, it just happened.”
“You were carrying on with Faith right here,” Sam quipped.
“It’s only been a couple of months since you stood making your vows with Lisa, is that why you couldn’t come up with any when she did?”
“Course not and I meant every word I said,” Zak said.
“Till death us do part, fair enough you didn’t break it, but you might have waited a bit longer,” Sam added.
Hitting back, Zak said: “That’s not how it was and I won’t have you talking like that, that is disrespectful to Lisa.”

Sam then asked his dad if anyone else knew to which Zak reassured him that he would tell the whole family the truth.
But Sam pleaded with Zak to keep his “mouth shut” to project Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper).
He added: “Keep your mouth shut then, it’s the least you can do for the whole family.”
However it might not be too long before Zak reveals all as he struggles with his conscience.
If so, will Sam and the rest of the Dingles turn their back on Zak for disrespecting Lisa?
Meanwhile, Emmerdale fans weren’t pleased when Zak and Faith shared an intimate moment.
One said: “Bit soon after Lisa for Faith to be trying to make the moves on Zak ain’t it? #Emmerdale.”
Another added: “Zak and Faith. Ew. No. Why #Emmerdale.”
“Come one Faith and Zak, Lisa died right there #emmerdale,” a third wrote.
“Wait, Zak and Faith?! THE F**K! #Emmerdale,” tweeted a fourth.
Emmerdale continues weeknights at 7pm on ITV.
