Dramatic photos show emergency vehicles outside the Home Office in London. Armed police have cordoned off the area in Westminster. An ambulance has been spotted on the scene. BBC reporter Henry Tribe tweeted: “BREAKING: Reports that someone has been stabbed at the Home Office. Building currently on lock down.” 

Witnesses on the scene reported a “bloodied” man leaving the building. 

One said: “Lots of armed police and a cordon going up outside the Home Office. 

“Gentleman with a bloodied face has been led out by paramedics.”

Express.co.uk has contacted the Met Police for comment.
