Federer and Rublev are meeting for the first time and at opposite ends of their career.

The 20-time Grand Slam champion eased past Juan Ignacio Londero on Tuesday and remains on course for a possible semi-final against Novak Djokovic.

While Rublev has come through qualifying and beat Stan Wawrinka in the second round.

And the Russian says he is looking forward to facing the 38-year-old.

“I always wanted to meet him,” Rublev told the ATP.

“Finally, we meet and we’ll see tomorrow. I will do my best.

“I will fight until the end.”

Federer and Rublev is the third match on Center Court and are expected on the court after 7pm BST.
