After leaving Liverpool Gerrard had an 18-month stint with LA Galaxy in the MLS before hanging up his boots.
He returned to the Reds coach of the U18s and last summer he signed a four-year deal to take over at Rangers in the Scottish Premiership.

In 114 England appearances, Gerrard scored 21 goals for his country and appeared at both the European Championships and World Cup.
His debut came in May 2000 and he retired after the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
